About Me

I'm Melanie Jean. I started reading cards in college at the UW-Madison. Later, when I was in grad school, I started studying the cards more deeply and apprenticed under an excellent reader. We worked together at the MN Renaissance Festival from 2011 to 2019 and in 2023. I read at parties (birthdays, bachelorette, weddings, happy hours and Halloween parties) and give individual readings virtually and in-person.

I see tarot card readings as a way to look in a mirror or take a snapshot of your life and receive wisdom and perspective. People are sometimes scared of what the cards will say, and in my experience, the cards validate your experience and provide insight and wisdom for you about your situation. I'm continuously learning from new tarot decks, books written by deep and insightful readers, and the ever-growing tarot reader community. The cards are a powerful tool to get clarity and dive more deeply into your human experience. I hope you will check them out!
